 Responsible for driving business growth in Azerbaijan and expanding the company’s footprint into Uzbekistan. The role involves identifying and securing new contracts for supply of equipment, materials, installation, and maintenance services across oil & gas, energy, general construction, and MEP sectors, building strong client relationships, and developing local partnerships in new markets. 
 
 Key Responsibilities & Expectations: 
 
 Develop and execute business development strategies for Azerbaijan and entry into Uzbekistan. 
 
 Identify and engage with EPCs, operators, and government or private investors in energy and infrastructure. 
 
 Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and partnership offers to secure contracts. 
 
 Build a local network of agents, suppliers, and subcontractors in new markets. 
 
 Report market intelligence, competitor activity, and pipeline status to management. 
 
 Requirements: 
 
 Minimum 7 years’ experience in business development or sales within oil & gas, construction, or MEP industries. 
 
 Proven track record of securing contracts and developing new markets (preferably in Azerbaijan and Central Asia). 
 
 Strong client network in industrial and infrastructure projects, existing contacts in Uzbekistan are of a great advantage. 
 
 Excellent communication skills in English, Azebaijani, and Russian; Uzbek is an advantage. 
 
 Willingness to travel frequently within the region. 
 
 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 
 
 Annual new contract value secured: ≥ USD 2 million. 
 
 New clients acquired: ≥ 5 per year. 
 
 Qualified leads in Uzbekistan: ≥ 5 in first 6 months. 
 
 Proposal success rate: >25%. 
 
 Market entry strategy for Uzbekistan delivered within 3 months
